This book of plates of paintings is worth a million. Art lovers surely will be attracted to these compositions. They capture moods, locale, texture and harmony of lines with with colour and broken lines more suggestive than real. Supporters of expressionism will find here some echo of Van Gogh and Picasso among others. He must have combined literature with painting. My pick is where he paints from Shakespeare's Tempest. This one is different from his other paintings, since it has a somber message with broken, deep,and dark coloured lines. His other paintings- using red, green and yellow- for other animals are brighter. In another paintings you see him draw figures minus facial details, very much in the style that Van Gogh followed. This is a treat. Painting lowers with an eye fro expressionism will find this book attractive and worth possessing.
