Reviews
In this book, there is a good cross section of pieces. They are all instructive in one way or another. The one criticism is in the arrangements. And this is highly subjective, I admit. Playing through some of the pieces seemed as though they were not well thought out. I get that these are advanced beginner at most, and you don't want to overwhelm students. But, again, this is just one opinion.Overall, the book is useful in giving variety in the classical vein to novice piano students. I always find at least two or three pieces in each book of this series that are what I am looking for to give students.
